In 2016, South Street stepped in on behalf of multiple investors to orchestrate a complex buyout of the carried interest ownership of Pittenger Land Investments. The 19,000-acre portfolio assembled by South Street is the largest land portfolio in the southeastern United States.

South Street plans to maximize value through the liquidation of assets to homebuilders and commercial developers.
