Palmetto Bluff
Palmetto Bluff is situated in the Lowcountry of South Carolina between Charleston and Savannah, Georgia. The largest remaining entitled waterfront property on the East Coast, this extraordinary 20,000-acre community is defined by 32 miles of coastline along three rivers – the May, Cooper, and New. Guided by the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy, protecting the land has been integral to Palmetto Bluff’s modern-day development, and its riverfront, Inland Waterway, and extensive nature trails are enriched by wilderness and wildlife.
The community features two vibrant village centers, Wilson and Moreland; more than 20 miles of biking and walking trails, freshwater and saltwater fishing and kayaking; the private Palmetto Bluff Club, which offers exclusive access to best-in-class amenities including swimming and wellness amenities, tennis and pickleball, and Longfield Stables equestrian center. Golf is a centerpiece, with the May River Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design; Crossroads, a King-Collins nine-hole reversible course; and Anson Point, a new 18-hole Coore & Crenshaw design. Additional offerings include the expansive Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club, the Shooting Club, a 12-acre working farm, the full-service Wilson Landing Marina, and nine distinctive restaurants. The community is also home to the Forbes Five-Star Montage Palmetto Bluff resort.
