Charlotte’s Southstreet Partners buys Kiawah Island developer

Kiawah Partners, the longtime developer of popular South Carolina vacation destination Kiawah Island, has been bought by Charlotte-based Southstreet Partners, the Post & Courier of Charleston reports. The 10,000-acre island is located about 30 miles south of Charleston, S.C., and is home to high-end vacation houses, two private golf courses and five resort courses.
